YOUNG HARRIERS MIX IT WITH THE BEST INDOORS

In last couple off weeks the first 2 meetings off the SAIL indoor league, have taken place at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow. The club took the decision to give every young athlete who wished to compete the opportunity, with almost 90 youngsters coming foward , this response was amazing but obviously meant that not all athletes could compete ,but every effort would be made to allow everyone to participate in at least one meeting
As stated above we were up against some off the top clubs in Scotland, and to give you an idea how well the young harriers performed i have compiled some comparisons below based on the Under 11 ,13 ,and 15 track results ( under17 results not fully published yet )

So after that tremendous performance at meeting 1 we fielded a much changed team for meet 2 again please see below based only on track results again ( and as before awaiting the U17 results

This plus the many other fine performances from all the other young harriers including numerous personal bests and with many making there debut in the blue and white vest ,and equally important all young youngsters enjoyed there experience off competing and mixing it some off Scotland s biggest clubs
