Winter Championship Update & West XC Pre-Entry

Now that the XC Relays are over, it’s now time for the individual races, when things start getting interesting & more competitive! 13 seniors, (7 women & 6 men), took part in the National Short Course XC on Saturday, heavy rain on previous days & on the day itself, meant challenging underfoot conditions. Fastest Harrier male on the day was James Wales & fastest female Stephanie Hewitt, well done to both & leading the Champs at the moment are Ross Connolly & Paula Wilson.

Next race in the Championships is our own Cross Country, held at the AAA on Sunday 22nd November, we expect a huge turnout form all age groups. Entry on the day, details of times & distances can be found on the Harriers & S.A.F websites.

A few weeks later, on Sunday 6th Dec, is the West District XC at Bellahouston Park, this is pre-entry & entry closes on Fri 20th Nov  so please get your names in asap as there is strictly no late entry. Seniors/Under20 please let the Club Captains know, all other age groups can let their coaches know & there will also be a sheet at registration.
