Winter Championship Update – George Cummings Road Relays (06/10/2018) and West District XC Relays (13/10/2018) Results

The Winter Championships are now well and truly underway with the first two races having taken place.  The first being the George Cummings Road Relays in Houston on 06/10/2018 and then the West District Cross-Country Relays on 20/10/2018.

In the George Cummings Road Relays, eleven Harriers took part in what were ideal weather conditions for a Saturday afternoon in October.  The individual results are below.  Well done to everyone on their performances.  There were some fantastic individual efforts there, in particular for Richard Mair with a time of 13:12 and 10^th overall.

In the West District Cross-Country Relays, seventeen Harriers came along and took part on a very wet Saturday afternoon.  The individual results are below.  Well done to everyone on their performances.  There were a few new entries to the world of cross-country racing in this race and good performances to match.

If anyone is interested in taking part in the winter championship races then please do contact either of the team captains (Amanda Bryden for the women and Stuart Nibloe for the men).  Upcoming races are the Ayrshire Cross-Country Relays in Irvine on 20/10/2018, the National Cross-Country relays in Cumbernauld on 27/10/2018 and then the Ruby’s 5k race in Kilmarnock on 28/10/2018.
