WEEKEND ROUND UP

Saturday saw the final track championships of the season ,the National Relays. This resulted in a hugely successful day for the club with a total of 5 medals. 4 Silver Under 13 Girls 4 x 100m, Under 17 Boys 4 x 100m, Under17 Boys 3 x 800m Senior Women 3 x 800m and Bronze Senior Men 4 x 100m As well as the medal winning teams ,there were brilliant performances from the other 11 teams who competed. With many reaching finals and others recording fantastic results
Sunday it was the turn of the road racers with 4 of our senior athletes recording excellent results including a couple of PBs at the Scottish 10km Road Racing Champs
There were also 3 outstanding runs from club members at the Great North Half Marathon
