Ever thought of Volunteering and helping to make difference? 

Yes, then Kilmarnock Harriers are looking for YOU!

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our club and help us improve the health and wellbeing of people in East Ayrshire. Come and join us on a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday night at our state of the art Athletics Facility on Queens Drive, Kilmarnock – Ayrshire Athletics Arena!

We require volunteers to join our club to work in various roles:

Volunteering with children and young people

  • Assist coaches or become a coach
  • Assist at events and competitions or become an official
  • Support children and young people with a disability

Volunteering with adults

  • Assist coaches or become a coach
  • Become a Jogleader or running buddy

Other Volunteering Roles

  • Are you a budding journalist? Why not help out with news reports, newsletter or help update our web site!
  • Could you give new members a warm welcome and make them feel welcome? Or help out with registration or general admin?
  • Are you more of a hands on person and could keep an inventory of our equipment and tidy our equipment store?

**Free training and support will be provided to anyone volunteering including the opportunity to gain coaching qualifications. Volunteering can help you into employment or higher education by developing your skills, building your confidence and allowing you to gain valuable experience. Helping others can be very rewarding – and you could make a difference
