The Rowallan Rosebowl – Tuesday 17th June

Your chance to mark your place in history!

For over 80 years, members of Kilmarnock Harriers have been competing to get their name engraved on the historic Rowallan Rosebowl trophy. You will have the chance to achieve this for yourself on Tuesday 17th June when we run the race from the AAA.
For those not familiar with the event, it is a team race of 5k comprising 2 X 2500m laps. Teams of 3 or 4 of (hopefully) matched abilities are selected by the handicappers with each team having typically 1 fast, 1 medium, and 1 slower runner.
Seniors and U20 will do 2 laps, junior members (15 to 17 ) are paired, with each junior running 1 lap.
Please register at the track for 6.30 pm. The planned start for the run is 7.00 pm. After the run there will be a presentation, and complementary snacks and drinks.

Entries on the night are accepted but it would help with the admin if you could notify me here Ian Gebbie or via Facebook if you plan to compete.
