It has taken us a bit of time to get to this stage (apologies for the delay!) but we are finally
ready to announce the winners of our Summer 2024 points leagues. We tried to do
something a little different in 2024 and focus on Championship events rather than the local
races, but we have to put our hands up and admit that this maybe didn’t quite go the way we
would have liked and as such, participation in the leagues was down on previous years.
Regardless of this, there have still been some absolutely outstanding performances from
many of our athletes and our top 3 athletes in both sections have not only performed to a
high standard, but also represented the club at top level events across Scotland which has
been great to see.
Without further ado, our winners are as follows:
Ladies Champion Summer 2024 – Izzy Caufield with 51 points.
Our runner up was Susan Boyd with 41 points, and rounding up our prize winners was
Lauren Carter with 40 points.
Unfortunately there are no age group prizes as nobody completed the requisite 5 events for
these to be awarded.
Mens Champion Summer 2024 – Gary Martin with 65 points.
Our runner up was Scott Masterton with 57 points, and Ross Granger takes 3 rd spot with 50
points.
Once again, unfortunately there are no age group prizes as nobody within the age groups
outside of the senior category completed the requisite 5 events.

Congratulations to all of our winners, prizes will be awarded at our annual awards ceremony
in March – tickets will be available soon.
For the summer 2025 season we will be looking to bring back some of the popular local
events – we will be looking for YOUR feedback very soon as to which races you would like
to see included.
For those of you who maybe just didn’t quite make the podium in the summer points, there is
