Stewart and Morag Ferguson 5K Results

We were blessed with a lovely spring evening for the commemoration of the memorial bench for Stewart and ‘Wee Moggie’ and for the 5K that followed.

Despite many folks being away for Easter, we had a healthy attendance with over a hundred competitors and supporters. Provost Todd of East Ayrshire unveiled the bench and then got the race underway.

Being only a ‘semi serious’ race the 73 competitors were split into teams of 3, with the handicappers trying to match up teams of similar ability.

First team on the night was made up of Mark Livingstone, Gael Riddle and Cornelius Lotter. Fastest man on the night was Alex Allardyce of Irvine AC, with our own Kara Tait being fastest woman. Full results are here – Stewart Ferguson 5K Result
