Well done to all age groups who braved the mud at Bellahouston Park for the West District XC Champs 2015, great to see so many blue & white vests racing & promoting the club. Tough underfoot conditions, total mudbath throughout the course, but what fun it was!! Fastest Senior Harriers on the day were Connell Drummond & Stephanie Hewitt, well done to them taking full 10 points & closing in on leaders Paula Wilson & Ross Connelly. Lots more races in the Championship, to earn points & challenge the top positions. Next race in the Champs is Cyclists V Harriers on Sunday 20th Dec, this is a fantastic race over the Irvine Moors racing alongside those pesky cyclists! Along with your entry fee, your asked to bring along a small gift & after the race, soup, CAKES , tea & coffee are served & everyone completing the race gets a gift. Nice competitive festive fun…..see you all there!
