Senior Road Running Championships Update

Please find the link to the updated championship tables following the Dundonald 10K last Wednesday night.

Around 30 Kilmarnock Harriers competed over the undulating course from the start in Dundonald, over to Symington then back again, in what proved to be a competitive club championship race.

In the men’s championship, Jim Connelly took maximum points in a time of 37:35 and 6th place overall. He was closely followed into the top 10 by Mark Alexander and Connell Drummond who took 14 and 13 points respectively.

The women’s race saw Lynne McCaffrey take the 15 points in a time of 49:26, a mere 1 second ahead of Viv Lambert who was 2nd female Harrier home on the night.

The next club championship race is the Marymass 10K in Irvine on 23rd August. This is filling up fast online, as are the remaining club championship races: the North Ayrshire 10K and the Around Cumbrae 10 miles, so please get your names in soon, if you have to already, to avoid disappointment. Please also remember that to count for club championship points you have to enter the race under Kilmarnock Harriers and wear the club vest.

Many Thanks
