Ruby’s 5K Race and Halloween Fun Run

This is the 25th Anniversary of this event, held in memory of our own Ruby Young, one of our most supportive and popular members, and which has raised over £25000 for charity over the years.

This years event will be held on Sunday 25th October 2015 at the Ayrshire Athletics Arena (AAA). Registration is from 10.00. The 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 11.00. 5K Road Race – main start is at 11.30 (there will be a start for participants planning to walk the course at 11.15). Cost : Fun Run £2, 5K £10 ** All proceeds from this years event will go to Ayrshire Cancer Support **

The mile fun run will be run on the track. All participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress for which there will be special prizes. The 5K is on a figure of 8 course starting and finishing on the track and incorporating roads and trails surrounding the AAA. We regret the 5K course is not suitable for wheelchairs but wheelchair users are very welcome to participate in the fun run. Enter at www.entrycentral.com/Rubys-Run.
