Rowallan Rosebowl 2022 Results

I recon that tonight’s Rowallan Rosebowl  must be in the top 5 of warmest events in the 89 years of its existence. However the heat did not deter the 9 teams of 4 mixed ability runners who took on the challenge.

First home was team J made up of Colin Anderson, Callum Campbell, Amanda Bryden and Thomas Samson with an aggregate time of 1hr 13min 15 secs. Commiserations to runners up, team F , made up of Jamie Nix, Callum Riddell, Luca Dickson and Louise Baillie who only finished 4 seconds behind in 1:13:19. Fastest male on the night was Martin Brown, with Laura Haggarty fastest female.

Thanks to everyone who participated and gave it their all in difficult conditions. Thanks also to the volunteers who marshalled and administered the race. We could not host events like this without your help.
