Roadrunning Championships 2015

The Land O Burns 10k was the 2nd race of the 2015 Roadrunning Championships, another good turnout from Killie Harriers with almost 30 athletes taking part.There are now over 50 seniors gaining points in the Champs after only 2 races. Cameron Wilson was 1st Harrier over the line collecting 15 points and not too far behind was Keith Haining, who is still leading the Mens Champs, with John Tougher 2nd & close behind Gerry Dodds in 3rd place.  Kara Tait was first woman in the race & still leads the Womens Champs with Michelle Goldie in 2nd place & Kirsen Dale sitting in 3rd.

 

Next race is a short distance race, (each athlete must compete in at least one of each short, medium & long distance for 7 races to count), Garscube Foodbank 5 miles which takes place on Saturday 20th June. To enter this you need only to bring at least £10 worth of food for the foodbank, you can pre-enter this event for free on Entry Central.
