PBs for Cameron and Bethany at Linwood Open Graded Meeting

On Wednesday 29th May only two Kilmarnock athletes traveled up to the Linwood Open Graded Meeting though despite the low turnout there was still personal and season bests. Firstly there was the 800m, Cameron Mackie (U20) ran in the fastest heat running strongly to finish third and set a new personal best of 2.01.3. Next Bethany Ross (U20) ran in the third heat of the 800m to also finish third in her heat but was the fastest woman for all of the heats, in a season’s best of 2.21.3 before moving onto the 200m. In her 200m heat Bethany finished 3^rd with a new personal best of 27.1s to again be fastest woman in the 200m. Cameron also ran the 200m running a new personal best 24.2s to finish 4^th in the fastest heat which rounded off a good competition for both athletes.
