New Senior Winter Championships

First Cross Country of the season in Kilmacolm, the West District XC Relays, kicked off the 2016-17 Senior Winter Championships. We managed 3 full Men’s & 2 full women’s teams, with everyone who races earning 7 points. Well done to fastest male & female Harriers on the day, Gavin Hogarth & Liz McDerment.

Next race will be held at the AAA in Kilmarnock, Sat 15th Oct, the Ayrshire XC Relays, a local race on home turf, we are looking to field a record number of teams. Both Team Captain’s have been collecting names for a couple of weeks, we have lots of names, but room for plenty more!! Can anyone wishing to take part please let us know asap, as we need to organise teams. This is also a good race for first timers, 3 women & 4 men to a team, with everyone racing 4k, ideal for all abilities to give cross country a try. Race starts at 2pm, but declarations close at 12.30, so we ask everyone to be there no later than 12pm. Cost is £3 (£5 non saf). See you all Saturday!!
