Masters XC – Saturday 02/02/2019 – Kilmarnock Harrier & AC

The Masters Cross-Country took place on a rather hilly field in Hawick on Saturday 02/02/2019 and again yours truly was too young to compete, disappointingly! However, Connell Drummond stepped up to represent the Harriers at the event. Fortunately, the wintery conditions were not as bad as first feared when setting out that morning although there was still a coldness in the air.

The route was a tough one looking rather undulating. In spite of this Connell did very well finishing with a provisional time of 32:18. The provisional results are available in this link.

Well done to Connell today for his run. A special thanks goes out to Alasdair Murray, Ian Gebbie and all the other volunteers who made this event both possible and enjoyable for all concerned.
