In form Cameron Wilson closes the indoor season on a high

Ravenscraig was the venue for the last meeting of the indoor season, in which 3 Harriers (U15) succesfully competed in: Cameron Wilson, Cara Baillie and Evie Bartl. Cameron Wilson, U15, had an excellent competition achieving PBs in all three events he competed in. Cameron started the competition with a fine 100m run where he finished 2nd in his heat, clocking 12.58, threw the shot put 9.16m and finished off the evening with a fine 60 m run, also finishing 2nd in his heat with a new PB of 8.01. Cara Baillie and Evie Bartl took advantage of being able to run a 75m hurdle race indoors, although this is the typical outdoor distance. Both athletes were drawn in the same heat, which Evie finished second in 14.19 and Cara third in 14.57. Well done to all three athletes who competed well over the indoor season 2012/2013 and are now turning their attention to the first meetings of the outdoor season, Linwood 10th April, Kilmarnock 14th April and Dumfries 21st April.
