Harriers with one leg in Scottish Athletics League Final

The second league match was another success for our youngsters and after the second match things look optimistic that at least one team, our U15 girls A team, could represent Kilmarnock Harriers in the final which takes place in March. Only the first 5 teams from the morning and afternoon will be selected for the final. The standings so far: boys U15 10th, girls U13 (A) 7th, girls U13 (B) 12th, girls U15 (A) 3rd and girls (B) 13th.

There have been numerous PBs during the match Zaya MacMillan-Grant’s shot put of 9.67m, Caitlin MClounie’s 800m( 2.43), Katie Greensmith 300m (47.3) just a few to mention.

Boys U15: Jamie Neilson 60m 9.17, Aidan Hesset 800m 2.32, Ewan McDougal 200m 32.6, David Stark 400m 65.7/high jump 1.25m/long jump 4.11, Rob Drummond shot put 5.45m,

U13 girls(A): Erin Connelly 60m 9.38/ 200m 30.03/ long jump 3.48m, Phoebe McCutcheon 800m 3.05, Natalie Sharp 60m hurdles 12.18, high jump 1.20m, shot put 5.38m.

U13 girls (B):  Jennifer Carey 60m 9.29/60m hurdles 13.02/high jump 1.15m, Leonie McCutcheon 800m3.18/ shot put 4.16m, Erin Pastulovic 200m 33.4,

U15 girls (A): Lauren Greig 60m 8. 53/ 200m 28.4, Caitlin McClounie 800m 2.43, Evie Bartl 60m hurdles 10.59/long jump 4.03, shot put 8.49m, Sophie Rowan high jump 1.35m

U15 girls (B): Erica McKie 60m9.40, Kelly Norton 800m 2.58, Iona Charles 200m 30.4, Laura Wilkie 300m 51.6/ high jump 1.40m, Morgan McKenna long jump 3.43m, Zaya McMillan Grant shot put 9.67m.

The third match will take place on 23rd February at the Emirates Stadium, athletes should speak to their coach with regard to team selection and transport arrangements if you should require a lift.
