In the 3000m for seniors, Iain Connell ran a strong of 9:32.4 placing first with Murray McDonald in 2nd clocking a time of 11:22.4 and also Kenny Wales in 3rd finishing with 12:32.6. For the senior women, Kara Tait ran well with her time of 10:35.5 with Lindsay McMahon shortly closing in on a time of 11:31.9. Gillian Johnstone, Under 17, also competed in the 3000m running a brilliant time of 13:48.7.

The 100m showed good consistency in a strong headwind for the U17 boys and all competitors. Ryan Crolla competed in heat 1 and finished 5th in 12.8s and Kuda Tapatapa, Reed Wyper and Ronan McGarry in the second heat. Kuda finished 1st with a strong time of 12.2, Reed in 3rd with 12.6 and Ronan in 5th with 13.3.

In the U17 women, Laura Duncan placed 3rd in 13.8 with training partner Anna Balls in 6th- 14.4, Eildh Baird in 7th- 14.7 and Kirsty Pattison in 8th- 15.2. Lorne Kerr ran in the second heat of the 100m and clocked in 3rd with 13.8.

For the U20 men, Roy Shankland and Scott Young made it a Kilmarnock 1-2. Roy blasted through his race in first and in a time of 11.6 with Scott Young following fast behind with 12.1. Natasha Kerr ran for the U20 women and finished 3rd in 15 seconds exactly.

The 1500m allowed Ryan Crolla (U17) to show natural abilities when he finished 2nd overall kicking through the last 100m to clock in at 4:41.6 with Ronan McGarry closing in at 5:19.9 and Terry Mulholland in 6:00.8. Gillian Johnstone also competed in the 1500m for U17 women to finish with 6:41.6.

Under 17 200m brought back Kuda Taptapa and Reed Wyper. Kuda finished a close 2nd with a PB of 23.7 and Reed closing in also with a PB of 25.1 in 4th. In the U17 women, Lorne Kerr performed well finishing in 4th with 28.5. Laura Duncan also competed with 28.3 and Anna Balls with 29.3. Natasha Kerr (U20) ran 32.0 for her 200m.

Roy Shankland proved himself again in the under 20 200m when he ran 22.8 with Scott Young shortly following in at 23.7, 3rd place.

The 800m was represented by Ben O’ Neill in the U17 category finishing 2nd with 2:13.4. Cameron Mackie performed well for the U20 when he ran 2:08.2, finishing 3rd.

In the field events, U17 boys had Reed, Kuda, Terry and Ryan all going for gold. Ryan jumped the furthest with 4.71m and Reed close by with 4.60m. Kuda jumped a reasonable 3.94m and Terry as well with 3.93m. Ronan McGarry entered shot putt and threw 6.84m. Harald Bartl, competing for senior men threw 24.24m in javelin (800g) and also threw 8.2m for shot putt (6kg).

The U17 women had Anna Balls jump 3.69m, Eildh Baird- 3.68, Laura Duncan- 3.65m, and Kirsty Pattison- 3.42m. Eildh also decided to do javelin and threw a good 17.40m
