Family Affair at Bellahouston 5K Road Race

Bella 5K 1st Sept

2 Harriers took the short journey up the M77 to compete in the “Bella” 5K.

Uncle and nephew ( John Parker and Graeme Cameron) were both looking to keep up their recent good form. Graeme was looking for that elusive 1st victory and John was looking to dip under 19:30 for the 1st time. Graeme was in a pack of 3 runners for the first couple of K’S but gradually pulled clear of them all to win in a time of 15:44. John meanwhile was going along fairly comfortable and managed to gain his PB with a time of 19:21. So all in all a good day for both Harrier runners.
