Code of Conduct update

The Club has adopted a new Code of Conduct for all members – so that includes athletes (senior and junior), coaches and volunteers.  A copy can be found at- codes-of-conduct-booklet.pdf (scottishathletics.org.uk), and also on the Policies page of the website.  There are different, although broadly similar, codes for all types of member

As you’ll see the Code of Conduct is branded with UK Athletics and Scottish Athletics who have developed and introduced this and have recommended that all Clubs adopt.

Your membership of the Club includes your confirmation that you will abide by the Club Policies including the Code of Conduct.  Please take the time to read the Code as it refers to your membership category of the Club.

We will also be adopting the Safeguarding Policies and Procedures which have recently been introduced by Scottish Athletics and we’ll be telling you more about this and an introduction to our Welfare Officers Jane Holt and Laura Haggarty shortly.
