YOUNG HARRIERS at NATIONAL AGE GROUP CHAMPS

This weekend saw the highlight of the track and field season the National champs at Aberdeen. First up on Saturday were the Under 13s where the club had 3 young athletes competing Charlie Gaskin Silver in the 100mtrs ( 2/100ths from gold ) and Silver in the 200mtrs. Fraser McCormack Bronze in the Discus and a good solid Javelin where Fraser got a PB .Brayden Dean PB in the 800mtrs and a big PB and top 5 finish in the Javelin
Sunday saw the Under 15 and Under 20 where Hannah Burn Gold in the 800mtrs Sara Barbour Gold in the Under20 Pole Vault ( Sara is still Under 17 ) Great performances as well from Brooke Dunlop PB in the 100mtrs and a big PB in the Javelin. Dean Murray who despite the cold wet conditions was only1cm shy of his PB in the High Jump as well achieving a PB in the Javelin .There was also good strong performances from Mhairi Chalmers 300mtrs and Isla Raeburn 800mtrs So a huge well done to all the young Harriers who competed over the weekend
