Killiween – Sunday 28th October

Entries are now open for Killieween – The Kilmarnock Halloween Running Festival which takes place on Sunday 28th October, with all money raised going to Ayrshire Cancer Support – Enter Here.

1. One Mile Fun Run at 10.30 at the Ayrshire Athletics Arena (AAA), Queens Drive, Kilmarnock, KA1 3XF. This includes kids Halloween games – dooking for apples etc. Registration is from 9.30.  Cost is £3.

2. Ruby’s 5K Road Race at 11.00 also at the AAA. There will be a start at 10.45 for participants planning to walk the course. Registration from 9.30. Cost is £10.

This is the 28th running of this event, held in memory of Ruby Young, one of Kilmarnock Harriers most popular members, and which has raised over £36000 for charity.

The mile fun run will be run on the track. All participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress for which there will be special prizes. The 5K is on a figure of 8 course starting and finishing on the track and incorporating roads and trails surrounding the AAA.

3. 2K Zombie Run! from 1.00 till 3.00 in Howard Park Kilmarnock, KA1 1SB. Run through the park and try and avoid the Zombies who will try and “kill” you. Will you survive or will you become a Zombie yourself! Registration from 12.00. Cost £10.

4 waves of 40 at 1.00, 1.30, 2.00 and 2.30. First 40 entrants in first wave, 2nd 40 wave 2 etc.

We have a limit of 100 for the Fun Run, 200 for the 5K and 160 for the Zombie Run. Entries on the day will only be accepted if these limits are not reached.
