Summer Club Championships Update

Please find the links to the updated Summer Championships below, following last nights Land O’ Burns 10k Road Race in Ayr. A number of Harriers undertook the testing course from the start near Seafield Pavilion in near perfect conditions.

Another fine performance by Richard Mair saw him take the 15 points and the overall win. However it is John Tougher who extends his lead at the top of the leader board.

Rhona O’Neill produced a strong performance to take maximum points in the women’s championship, but it is Amanda Bryden who has established a large advantage at the top, having competed in all 4 races so far.

Well done everyone and a special shout out to those who competed just 3 days after Stirling Marathon. Marathon times will be added to the championships soon with the final scores for this category being compiled at the end of the road running season.

Just one reminder, to be eligible for club championship points you must enter a race under Kilmarnock Harriers and be wearing a club vest. We have to be consistent  with this rule and unfortunately points won’t be awarded if that is not the case.

The next race is Kirkmichael 10K this Saturday. We look forward to seeing another large turnout at this increasingly popular local race.

Many Thanks

The Club Captains
