Senior Winter Championships 2016-17

The final race of the 2016-17 Senior Winter Champs took place, on Sunday, the National 4/6 Stage Road Relays in Livingston, on a lovely sunny day! Adding these points to the Championship tables, the prize winner are as follows –

Men’s Winter Champion – Gavin Hogarth, 2nd Richard Mair, 3rd Leslie McDerment 1st Vet Colin Glencorse

Women’s Winter Champion – Liz McDerment, 2nd Amanda Bryden, 3rd Paula Wilson 1st Vet Kirsty Alexander

Well done to all who took part throughout the winter months. Now Summer is literally around the corner, infact, the Summer Championships 2017, start this Sunday!! First race is the Tom Scott 10 miles at Strathclyde Park, entry for this is now closed. This is also a West Chamionship race, good luck to all who have entered this popular race. Next one after this will be Ron’s Runners 5k on Wed 19th April, which is also an Ayshire Champ race.
