2016 Senior Summer Champs & Arran Relays

The following races have been chosen for this years Summer Roadrunning Championships. This is being announced a little earlier than usual, as the first race is only 10 days away! Ron’s Runners 5k is a brand new race for the road racing calendar & this year has been chosen as the Ayrshire Championship 5k race, so medals as well as points up for grabs! The race takes place on Wed 13th April, registration is at the Magnum Leisure Centre & starts at 7pm, entry costs £5 (£7 non saf). Pre entry is available on Entry Central until 9th April, at the moment there are 116 of the 200 places taken.

The format of the Championships are the same as previous years, your best 7 races will count, and you must complete at least one short, medium & long race for all 7 to count. You also must be a fully paid up member of Kilmarnock Harriers & wear a club vest. We have added a couple more races this year, as some of the races are filling up quickly & we realise some did miss out on entering Troon 10k. So here are this years races, lets have lots of Blue & White vests representing the club…..Good Luck!!

Sun 4th Sept – North Ayrshire 10k (M)

Sun 11th Sept – Cumbrae 10 Mile (L)

The popular Round Arran Relay Race takes place on Sat 23rd July, can anyone interested in taking part please pass your name to the Club Captains asap.
