ILAP CG2014 QUAD CHALLENGE NO. 4 – SUNDAY 17 AUGUST

As part of local celebrations to commemorate the Commonwealth Games coming to Glasgow this summer, the next (fourth and last) Inverclyde Local Athletic Partnership’s  – ILAP CG 2014 QUAD CHALLENGE   –  takes place on Sunday 17^th August at Ravenscraig Stadium, Greenock to which athletes from Kilmarnock H & AC are cordially invited – I passed on some Flyers to some of your members at the West District T&F Championships held at Kilmarnock recently.

 

ILAP CG2014 QUAD CHALLENGE comprises four athletic meetings at Ravenscraig Athletic Stadium involving young athletes competing in a number of athletic events ranging from: 100m, 200m, 800m, 1500m, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Putt and (turbo) Javelin for young athletes with additional events such as 400m and 1500m for senior athletes and relays for everyone.

 

Entries are on the day with declarations open from 11.00 am – 12.00 noon and the first event starting at 1.00pm and the last event starting around 2.30pm.

 

Tea / coffee and home baking will be available on the day, with a modest charge of £2.00 for both competitors and spectators.

 

There are also free T shirts for everyone.
