Exciting New Posts for Kilmarnock Harriers & AC

We are delighted to announce that, with the invaluable support of Scottish Athletics, we have successfully recruited three key staff members to further strengthen and develop our club.  You may remember that I had announced this at our AGM.  I am pleased to tell you we have recruited the following staff members –

Lynn Smith, Club Administrator: This role will be managing the day-to-day administration of the club and providing essential support to our officers, volunteers, coaches, and officials.

Lynn has a long association with the club having been involved as a track and field official.

Stewart McAllister, Coaching Coordinator: This role will oversee our club’s coaching structure and athlete pathway, ensuring it aligns with the national guidelines for best practice in age and stage development.

Stewart is passionate about athletics, is a qualified coach and track and field official.

Kat Kelly, Business Operations & Community Outreach Lead: This role will focus on developing our business operations, supporting our club’s team, and leading community outreach programmes in targeted areas of East Ayrshire, especially those with higher levels of health inequalities.

Kat has a background in business and coaching as well as being a talented athlete.

These appointments mark an exciting new chapter for Kilmarnock Harriers & AC, and we are committed to growing our club’s impact both on and off the track!

Stay tuned for more updates and join us in welcoming our new staff members!
