SAIL Finals and Relays

Sunday saw the junior athletes back at the Emirates Arena
After 3 qualifying rounds the club had 6 age group teams ( out of 10 ) contesting the finals .Pride of place must go to our 3 medal winning teams
Under 11 Girls Silver, Under 13 Girls and Under 20 Men Bronze with the 3 other teams Under 11 Boys Under 15 Boys and Under 20 women who all produced some superb performances on the day
Also running in conjunction with the Finals was the SAIL Relays where our Under 17 Boys ran brilliantly to secure Gold not forgetting our Under 11 Boys who also reached the final ( finishing a highly respectable 4th )
In the other relays ( we fielded teams in 9 out of the 10 age groups) there were some tremendous performances with the club taking the opportunity in age groups where we had teams in the finals to allow other athletes to compete for the club With many having there first experience of the Emirates and others competing for there first time and most importantly all seemed to enjoy the experience
