Roon the Toon Resheduled

despite the best efforts of ourselves, East Ayrshire Council and East Ayrshire Leisure we do not believe we are able to host this years race on June 6th as a result of ongoing Covid restrictions. Our only viable alternative date this summer is 22nd of August. However that could still be subject to Covid constraints plus if Kilmarnock FC have a home game against either Rangers or Celtic that day, then Police Scotland would not allow the race to go ahead. We will not know that for sure until the fixture list for the 2021/22 season is published in June.
We have therefore moved the race date to 22nd August but are making everyone aware of the issues. Your entry is automatically carried forward to the new date. If that doesn’t suit you can opt for your entry to be carried forward till June 2022 or you can receive a full refund. 
If you intend to run in August you don’t have to do anything. To claim a refund or carry forward your entry till 2022 email us at admin@roonthetoon.com. Refunds, carry forwards or substitutions can be claimed anytime up until the race numbers and chips are posted out around 1st August, so no need to rush to a decision.
We already have over 1000 entries for the race and are sure the event will sell out. As normal the race will feature the same iconic route, with great support and on course entertainment and the best value goody bag anywhere.
