Update on Covid Restrictions

The Scottish Government have given us an update on the level at which East Ayrshire are moving to on Friday at 18.00hrs. After this time we are in Level 3 again.
So what does this mean for our members?

Travel
Adults, 18 years or older, should not travel into East Ayrshire for organised Kilmarnock Harrier sessions. If you stay in any other local authority area, you should not enter a Level 3 area for training or competition. This is change to previous Level 3 advice.

Athletes 17 years or younger can travel up to five miles from the boundaries of their local authority to participate in organised athletics.

People can travel five miles to participate in informal sport, but they should adhere to the restrictions, meaning no more that two households.

Indoor Use
Athletes 17 years and below can use the indoor areas for sessions, physical distancing should be adhered to during indoor work.

No group activities for any athlete 18 years plus indoors. One to one sessions only and physical distancing at all times.

Coaches and helpers MUST wear face masks at all times when indoors.

Whilst this will be a challenging time for the adult members from out with East Ayrshire, the club must follow the guidance provided by the Scottish Government, sportscotland and scottishathletics. Please do not attend the club if you live outside East Ayrshire whilst we are in the level of restrictions.

If you are a resident of North and South Ayrshire and you have been unable to train for some of this week and next due to the change in restrictions and wish to request a reduction to the monthly fee please get in touch with treasurer@kilmarnockharriers.com

If you have any questions, please contact coaching@kilmarnockharriers.com
As with previous changes, if there is an update or change, the club will inform all members.
