28 PB’S AT YDL

In April at the first YDL match, Kilmarnock Harriers’ performance gave the clear message that we are a club to contend with.

In response to this, Victoria Park Glasgow (winners of the league) and South Lanarkshire (2nd), brought their best athletes to the 2nd meeting.  This tied all 3 clubs at the top of the table with 14 points going into Sunday’s final 3rd meeting.  The Harriers can take this as a huge compliment, going forward into 2017.

Today, a massive 28 Personal Bests were set on the cold and wet day at the AAA.  Again many athletes gave 100%, showing their commitment to the club and their own personal development, which they should all be very proud of achieving.  Despite the Harriers having 8 unexplained DNS,  we still achieved 3rd place  and 3rd overall in the league.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank all the athletes who have competed in the YDL this year. Also a huge thank you to all the parent helpers and coaches who have helped make this a success.

Proud to be Killie
