Balloch Castle Country Park was the new venue for last Saturday s ,With every cross country race so far this season being held in dry and most often suuny conditions. Saturday showed the other side of Scottish weather with rain and wind all day
Despite these tough conditions there were superb runs from the junior Harriers who competed ( worryingly was the very low number of entries from the club in certain races )
On a much more postive note the club had 4 young athletes in the top 12 therefore gaining selection for the Inter Districts in January
Olivia Warboys Under 13 Girls Jonathon Downey Under15 Boys both finishing 4th
Sam Rice Under 13 Boys Jamie Phillips Under15 Boys both finishing 9th
There were also 5 others with top 20 finishes
Ellie Anderson, Jordan Phillips, Taylor Cadwell, Laura Jedsuriak, Davie Houston
Also strong runs from Molly Hunter,Lewis Anderson , Lucy Hoy, Callum Campbell, Victoria McDowall, Lewis Ferguson, Ryan Littlejohn and Sam Lindsay
And in the seniors Kara Tait 6th also gained selection for the inter districts
